Sure, Firefox can track your RSS feeds, check your Gmail, and deliver a weather report. But did you know it can write up a grocery list too? With Grocery List Generator, it can. This extension comes supplied with a large list of food categories, dishes, and products. To create and print a list, just select the dishes you want to prepare, and the program automatically adds the necessary products. Unfortunately, you can’t enter product prices or track expenses, which makes the extension a lot less useful than it might otherwise be. But if you don’t want to spring for a stand-alone grocery application, Grocery List Generator makes a decent alternative. Of course, you’ll still have to do the actual shopping yourself: Firefox can’t handle that part for you–yet.
