csEasyEncoder eXPress Edition

Developer’s Description

A humble, compact little program for performing the basic functions to encode video and music files. It was made to be simple, easy to use, and understand. Designed for myself, and others who just wants to get the job done with no complicated configurations. It supports many of the latest and greatest codecs including MPEG4 (a very High Quality H.264 option is also available), AVI, Windows Media Video, Flash Video and more! You can also take/grab/strip just the audio from the source video, and save the audio as a .MP3 or .Wav file!Powered by the FFMpeg encoding engine for speed and quality. Apart from the more popular formats, you have available others like: Quicktime .MOV;.MP3; Flash Video; Wave .Wav, and MPEG 1&2 .MPG based DVD, SVCD, VCD Presets! Standard and HQ (High Quality) modes are available. Standard mode will basically use the same quality settings as the source media. HQ mode will enhance the encoder using high quality Bitrate and Audio parameters. There is a very high quality setting named:: ‘.MP4 – h.264_HQ’ available for those who favor the highest quality over speed and filesize. This program can easily convert your Apple i-Tunes based .m4a files to *.mp3 and *.wav files! I originally made this for my own personal use but hopefully someone else will find it usable and useful for them.
